Alpha at MDPC is looking for people who are passionate about prayer and desire to see MDPC live more fully into Jesus’ Great Commission to “go and make disciples.” The Alpha prayer team could be a great way to serve if you want to learn learn more about prayer or have spiritual gifts such as prayer, faith, or intercession.

Prayer is at the heart of Alpha. We know from Scripture that God is the one who moves people toward Jesus. Jesus teaches that we can do nothing without him. Without prayer, then, we will likely find our attempts to evangelize are powerless. Prayer is the engine that runs Alpha. To serve on the Alpha prayer ministry is to join our loving and compassionate God in his mission to seek and save the lost. Prayer ministry involves daily personal prayer and corporate prayer with and for others.
