zzzYouth MDPC Covenant

Effective Aug. 1 2018 to Aug. 30 2019

Purpose of this Covenant:

The purpose of this covenant is to provide guidelines that help ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all participants. With the covenant, we intend to set boundaries within which students can have fun, be themselves, and grow as followers of Jesus.

Abide by all MDPC and other Ministry’s rules:
- No bullying! Bullying may lead to the student being sent home immediately. What you think is funny, others may feel is bullying. Be respectful, positive, encouraging and loving to others
- No cell phones, iPods, game systems or electronics
- Obey Dress Code – see Packing list
- Obey all adult leaders.
- Use materials/facilities/properties responsibly
- No public displays of affection & stay out of the opposite gender’s dorm and bathroom areas
- No profanity
- No pranks or possession of prank devices. Pranks include but are not limited to Axe bombs, messing with other students’ possessions/sleeping area, messing with another’s food, etc.
- No drinking, smoking, stealing, drug use or possession of alcoholic beverages, tobacco or illegal drugs, or weapons, including firearms, knives, fireworks, etc

MDPC Youth’s Correction Policy


MDPC follows the below procedure for students who fail to observe the rules above:
- 1st Violation – Students are taken aside and given a verbal warning regarding the violation
- 2nd Violation – Students are taken aside, given a second verbal warning and a phone call is placed to the parents or guardians
- 3rd Violation – Students are sent home early at the family’s expense.

In certain situations and at the Youth Staff's discretion, students may be sent home without warning. These situations may include but are not limited to the use of drugs, tobacco, or alcohol; extreme bullying; vandalism; etc. :
