As a Christ-centered, holistic ministry, Generation One serves with a vision to empower children and families in under-resourced communities to thrive and to reach their fullest potential. With 15 years in Houston's Third Ward, we are creating opportunities for children to learn, to grow, and to thrive no matter what zipcode they live in. We are developing an evidence-based framework of high-quality early childhood education and supporting programs that are trauma-informed, social-emotional-learning focused, culturally responsive, and can be replicated in other low-income, high-need communities.
