Youth: Confirmation Group Leader (ON HOLD)

Confirmation is an annual program through which adult volunteers shepherd 8th grade high school students through an eight-week process of diving deeper into knowledge of God and personally articulating his/her faith in Jesus Christ.

Confirmation runs from Sunday, January 5, 2020 - Confirmation Sunday on March 8th, 2020.  Confirmation leaders partner with a co-leader and shepherd a group of 8-10 students.

Important Dates:

  • Confirmation Kick-off: Sunday Evening, January 5, 2020
  • Confirmation Class Meetings: Sunday Mornings, January 12- March 1 11:00 AM-12:15 PM | Gym
  • Confirmation Retreat: Friday-Saturday, January 31-February 1
  • Confirmation Family Service Project: Sunday, February 23 (Church in the City)
  • Confirmation Sunday: Sunday, March 8

Working directly with youth requires additional screening, training, and requires a background check every two (2) years.
